CASAJÚS BARRICA 9 MONTHS Box of 6 bottles
€78,00 IVA Inc.
It is a monovarietal Tinta del País (Tempranillo) wine, made from vineyards planted more than 50 years ago in the Quintana del Pidio area.
The grapes achieved exceptional ripeness, along with balanced acidity and high phenolic parameters, which is ideal for producing wines designed for long aging.
Hand‑harvesting allows us to carefully select the fruit directly in the vineyards, which is then transported to the winery in small stainless‑steel crates.
In the production cellar, the destemmed grapes are fermented in small stainless‑steel tanks of 10,000 and 20,000 liters, perfect for maintaining strict temperature control and favoring healthy fermentations.
In the aging cellar, the wine spends 6 months in French and American oak barrels, perfectly blending the aromas from the wood with the characteristic red fruit notes of the variety.
Ingredientes
Uvas, conservadores (metabisulfito de potasio (sulfitos)), agentes estabilizantes (contiene goma arábiga y/o poliaspartato de potasio), correctores de la acidez (ácido tartárico [L(+)-]).
Afinado con clara de huevo.
Description
VISUAL PHASE
Very beautiful, intense garnet‑red color with violet hues.
AROMATIC PHASE
On the nose, the wine shows a high concentration of aromas of very ripe red fruit, raspberry and licorice. These are well integrated with the aromas from the barrel, such as toffee.
TASTING PHASE
In the mouth it is full‑bodied and very well balanced with freshness, thanks to the wine’s relative youth, and there is a clear impression of amplitude and creaminess. The red fruit returns on the finish, with great harmony and persistence on the palate.
It pairs perfectly with cured meats, cheeses, hearty stews, and braised dishes.
To fully enjoy this wine, we recommend serving it at between 14 and 16 °C.
