NIC is made from grapes grown in the small vineyards of the area known as Montecillo, planted by our family in 1920, which today yield a controlled production of approximately 1 kg of grapes per vine. The variety used is 100% the native Tinta del País (Tempranillo), a noble grape that gives this wine its color, aroma, and body.

NIC is produced using a new concept of whole winemaking in 500-liter French oak barrels from the Tronçais area. The entire process of winemaking, maceration, fermentation, and aging lasts approximately 24 months. This method allows for a very careful, artisanal approach to obtain the best qualities from the grapes.

NIC comes from a deep respect for viticulture and the traditional winemaking methods of Ribera del Duero.

Limited production of 4,250 bottles.

Description

VISUAL PHASE
Deep cherry color, with a lively rim.

AROMATIC PHASE
A fine, elegant aroma, with toasted oak notes over a background of ripe fruit and red earth.

TASTING PHASE
A full-bodied palate, with volume and a harmonious balance between oak and fruit. The tannins are very lively, and the finish is creamy, with notes of chocolate, licorice, and terroir. This 100% Tinto Fino wine shows great potential. It pairs perfectly with cured meats, red meats, stews, and cheeses.

To enjoy this wine at its best, we recommend a serving temperature between 14 and 16 °C.
